System Architect

Job description / Role

• Systems Architect is responsible for architecting, modelling, documenting the applications(functionalities) and data layers’ logical design and physical deployments of the scoped smart city overall smart services systems. Align and integrate with the business architecture and Technology architecture. (technology architecture provided by vendors).

The applications (functionalities) and data layers cover the domains of:
• Edge computing [IoT devices]
• Fog computing [distributed]
• Cloud Computing [ centralized]
• Systems Architect required to define smart systems (applications functionalities and data layers) as vendor-neutral solutions specifications based on Stakeholder’s needs, best-practices and required integration with existing proposed vendor’s technology applications, systems, or platforms.
• Systems Architect required to identify selects, and tests technology products required for solution delivery as well. establishes, implements, and documents the technical integration or migration strategies to fit the application functionalities and data layers design.
• System Architect will lead the MSI vendors architects in his areas of work to complete the needed deliverable.
• Will verify and validate their works for ensuring that their architectural solutions building blocks meet technical and functional requirements, recommending improvements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of direct experience with smart services systems architecture design, modelling documentation, and operations.
• Experience with ISO 20k and ITIL v3 and ITIL v4 is a must
• Certified TOGAF 9.1 or later
• Experience with modelling using ARCHIMATE, using Archi and Sparx EA tools
• Solid Experience with Big Data Platforms and Data Management methodologies
