For our client, a recently founded and growing Electric School in Saudi Arabia, we are currently looking for several Mathematics Instructors.

Our client is an Electrical College in Saudi Arabia. Founded in 2012, the vocational college currently operates three locations in Saudi Arabia. One additional training center will be opened throughout the coming 12 months.

In a 2-year training program trainees study power plant maintenance, power plant operations, network maintenance and shielding methods. The organisation is being operated as a public private partnership. Having completed the 2-year training, the school graduates will be joining Saudi Arabic electric companies for the operation and maintenance of the national power system. The school currently employs around 80 training instructors and staff.

In these attractive positions, the Mathematics Instructors will train the Saudi-Arabic students at one of the existing training centers in the fields of General Mathematics.

All of the trainees are either high school or technical college graduates and study for 30 contact periods per week. Class sizes average between 15-17 trainees. The curriculum is based on a 14-week trimester system or a 10-week quarter system with breaks between each training cycle (depending on the location).

Throughout the first year, trainees within the program study English, Health and Safety, Physics and Mathematics and other Science - related studies. Students in the second year of the program will study in one field of specialization, i.e. Power Plant Maintenance (Electrical & Mechanical), Transmission / Distribution or Power Plant Operation.

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) and Master of Science (M.Sc) in Mathematics / Physics
- Minimum of 5 years experience in teaching General Mathematics / General Physics at a university level
- Proven teaching experience in the Middle East would be a plus
- Strong classroom management skills
- Highly developed interpersonal and relationship skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues to resolve issues and meet agreed outcomes
- Willingness to work and live in Saudi Arabia
- Fluent in English (in speaking and writing)
