JOB SUMMARY
This role will suit a highly organized, proactive, detail oriented and enthusiastic individual with extensive technical experience in the façade and building envelope industry.

Key responsibilities include Ensuring that sub-contractors understand the system and have all the up to date and necessary drawings to complete their design, procurement, and manufacturing works. Conducting regular façade progress meetings to include reviews on design, safety, quality, resources, program, site coordination and interface works.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Planning and managing resources during the design phase of projects to achieve maximum resource efficiency.
• Review project plans and specifications, feedback on the interior fit-out and facade design and scheduling, and thus recommend possible cost savings measures and identify potential construction problems
• Must display knowledge of relevant building, design codes, and regulations in the facade, curtain wall systems, cladding systems, doors and windows, skylights & canopy.
• Provide and up-keep an in-depth technical knowledge of current design solutions, materials, manufacturing and install best practice allowing us to have a competitive advantage over other facade suppliers.
• Reviewing project / Façade specifications – to ensure subcontractor proposals are in line with Design Team and Client specification.
• Manage day to day design issues supporting the design team, third-party design contractors and/or other departments to reach solutions in a timely manner.
• Provide ongoing tutoring and mentoring to other team members to ensure design intent is understood and executed correctly.

Requirements

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
• 20+ years of experience
• Experience in façade and building envelope industry.
• Strong sense of commercial awareness and project targets.
• Excellent project management and contractual skills.
• Excellent working knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Well versed with project management tools like Primavera, MS Office etc.
• Excellent communication skills and customer service oriented.
