Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• APM
• Control and monitor passenger’s safety, security and comfort on-board trains and platforms
• Perform crowd control on-board the trains and in the platforms with coordination with the Station STW
• Rescue of trains during breakdowns and ability to recover/drive the train if required
• Perform evacuation of trains/platforms if required (e.g. fire alarm or any other kind of emergency)
• Perform corrective actions in terms of light maintenance of trains, track and coordinate with Station STW for PSDS
• Act in a professional manner in and outside company
• Provide first-aid assistance and fire-fighting support, if required
• Readiness in terms of operation and safety requirements, including but not limited to wearing of safety shoes, uniform, tools, radios
• Report errors, missing items, breakdowns and irregularities to the Operation Control Center
• Ensure the application of safety and security requirements by the Railways Authority and Client
• Collect and report lost property according to guidelines
• Acting in accordance with Company plan, rules and procedures
• Follow the instructions of the on-duty Supervisor and the Operation Control Center
• Station

• Readiness in terms of operation and safety requirements, including but not limited to wearing of safety shoes, uniform, tools, radios
• Report errors, missing items, breakdowns and irregularities to the Operation Control Center

Requirements

• Secondary school or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate easily and effortlessly in English and Arabic, in speech and writing.
• Command of IT at user level is also welcomed, as well as experience from customer focused Service Company.
