WSP are looking for a Translator, who is responsible for providing operationally sound advice and support to management in relation to issues impacting upon the Major Project in Makkah ensuring best practice.

The key objectives of the role will be to:

• Study source text to understand the meaning and convert it into Arabic/English to convey the original meaning, spirit and feeling
• Uses dictionaries and other sources to determine meanings of words and phrases and to establish their closest equivalent in the target language
• Translating financial statements, proposals and feasibility studies from English to Arabic and vice-versa
• Revises translations done by others
• Translates all the governmental documents
• Aware of the role of the position and its potential impact on the business
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

In order to meet the challenge you will have the following skills and experience:

• Degree level qualification preferably in English Language
• Fluent in English and Arabic, both written (reading and writing) and verbal
• Approximately 3-5 years of related work experience,
• Experience within the multi-disciplinary consultancy sector would be advantageous
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Effective research and analysis skill
