Translator - Saudi National

A privately owned firm with more than 80 offices around the world is once again expanding the business support services team in Riyadh. Therefore, we have a requirement for an experienced Saudi National Translator for this office.

Supporting the local and regional teams with all English to Arabic (and vice versa) translations you will be seen as the language expert and the “go to person” for such work streams. Working independently to manage proof reading of up to 4000 words and translating up to 2500 words per day, you should possess a high level of local context to translate with an exceptionally high attention to detail. Utilising the CAT tool (or similar automated platforms) to ensure you are meeting your designated KPI based deadlines, you will support the team with both internal and external translation services providers and provide constructive feedback on the standard and overall delivery of their work. You will also offer support and guidance to junior staff in this regard.

The Translator will be required to be fully present in client meetings with the relevant teams to ensure accuracy and understanding of translations and answer any questions both in verbal and written formats. You should therefore have strong communication skills in both English and Arabic and possess excellent MS Office capabilities, including PowerPoint and Excel.

Requirements

We are seeking Saudi National candidates with experience in English - Arabic - English translations, in particular regarding business-related presentations, proposals and texts with topics such as market studies, business strategy, company organization and human resources. Typically, documents will be 80% business and 20% legal and experience of producing accurate and clear information is essential.
