Urban Planning Role

The Urban Technology Manager will be responsible for leading and implementing digital initiatives within the Urban Planning Department.

The Manager of Urban Technology will be responsible for leading and implementing digital initiatives within the Urban Planning Department. The primary objective will be to support, enhance, innovate, and improve designs and plans through the strategic application of digital technologies. The candidate will collaborate with various stakeholders to identify opportunities for digital innovation, develop and execute transformation strategies, and ensure the successful internal adoption and integration of digital solutions.

Responsibilities:
• Support with the development and execution of the Digital Transformation Strategy
• Lead the formulation and execution of a comprehensive digital transformation strategy aligned with the department's goals and objectives
• Identify key areas where digital technologies can enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance within the Urban Planning Department
• Evaluate emerging digital trends, tools, and technologies relevant to urban planning, and make recommendations for their implementation

Requirements

• Proven experience (5+ years) in leading digital transformation initiatives within complex organizations, preferably in the urban planning or government sector.
• Deep knowledge of digital technologies, such as data analytics, Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Digital Twin (DT).
• Strong understanding of urban planning processes, regulations, and industry best practices.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and execute digital strategies, manage complex projects, and drive organizational change.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and inspire a culture of innovation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to translate business requirements into effective digital solutions.
• Proven track record of successfully implementing digital initiatives and achieving measurable outcomes.
