Reporting to: Curriculum Team Leader
Number required: 13
Duration: 1 year fixed term contract - potential for renewal
Desired start date: 14/08/2016
Probation: 3 months
Main responsibilities:
- To deliver and develop a relevant and up to date curriculum to students. To use outstanding classroom management and teaching skills to maximising student attendance, retention and achievement.
- Contribute towards the delivery of a high quality educational experience for all students, delivering services in a way that is sensitive and responsive and which displays the highest standards of student care.
- Plan, prepare and deliver teaching sessions as required.
- Be responsible for assessing, recording and reporting on student development and progress.
- Undertake tutorial/pastoral and student support related duties.
- Monitor student attendance and achievement taking appropriate action as required.
Working Hours: 40 hours a week (25 hours teaching per week) Sunday - Thursday
Travel requirements: You will be required to travel to KSA 1 week prior to start date
Gross monthly base salary: Tax free salary - 15,500 SAR per month
Commission / Bonus: End of contract bonus (circa 2 weeks salary – tax free of course)
Other Benefits: All expenses paid fully furnished accommodation within a sought after location, return flights, free transport to and from work, 30 days holiday plus an additional 11 ‘bank holidays’
Requirements
In order to be considered you will need to be able to answer yes to the following...
- Do you have a relevant teaching qualification (PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert Ed)?
- Do you have a degree? Doesn’t matter what it’s in!
- Do you have experience teaching the subject in a Further Education College?
- If you’re not a native English speaker – do you hold an IELTS qualification?
