Al Rammah is a well-established company specialized in exclusive textiles and expanding to offer high-end custom made garments for women. Within this exciting growth, we are currently looking for motivated individuals who will join our design studio and complete the team with their passion, skills, and expertise.

The role of the pattern maker will have two major responsibilities. The first is to be in charge of executing all patterns of our customers’ custom-made orders and the second involves cutting the fabric and sewing. The team will also include a full-time tailor so your main tasks will be mostly patterns and cutting the fabric but during your free time and whenever the tailor requires your help, you will help him/her with the sewing. The most important is to have a teamwork spirit and to collaborate closely with each other and the designer so that you can present the best quality and respect the given deadlines.

Requirements

- Minimum 5 years experience in pattern-making within high-end womenswear. A diploma is preferred but we are open to candidates with solid work experience who have the knowledge and confidence we are seeking.
- Experience in making patterns for evening gowns, bridal gowns, tops and skirts
- Good knowledge of different fabrics and knowing how to adapt patterns to the type of fabric used (including stiff fabric, bias cut, stretchy designs…etc.)
- Experienced in sewing all sorts of garments for women, especially high-end evening wear and dresses. Can work with all sorts of techniques and fabrics including sensitive ones like chiffon, organza and lace.
- Very precise and detail oriented, giving attention to quality and beautiful finishing of the garment inside out
- Willing to show perseverance, patience and quick problem-solving in challenging situations
- Work well within a team and always looking to give your best and to help other team members
- Be willing to stay occasionally after regular work hours if a dress needs to be delivered in order to respect the given deadline of dress delivery
- Be willing to bring positive energy and attitude to the team
