Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

My Client - a global provider of banking, financial, advisory, investment and funds management services - is currently seeking a DEALING ROOM SUPPORT Specialist (DRS) for their Singapore Office. Your key functions will be to provide 1st and 2nd Level Support to various business units: Trading, Back/Middle Office, Corporate, Banking and Research. Additional accountabilities will be as follows:

- To follow up on escalations to 3rd line support (Singapore, Hong Kong, Sydney)
- Troubleshooting for support and network issues (TCP/IP, NAT/PAT)
- First level telephony for PABX, BT ITS Dealer Board, Cisco IPTEL and NICELOG
- Daily management of small projects
- Problem solving for Windows XP and Office
- Support of Market Rate services, trading systems, market feeds and clearing systems

Requirements

You will be expected to have:
- Solid technical experience in a fast paced environment
- Exposure to working in Banking and Trading rooms a huge plus
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft OS and products, plus Active Directory
- Working knowledge of UNIX and Market Rates services (Bloomberg, Reuters etc)
- Knowledge of trading and clearing systems
