Our client, an IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) service provider are currently looking for a 'Software Asset Management (SAM) Presales Consultant' with expertise in SNOW Software (or similar SAM tool) to join their Johannesburg office, South Africa.

Job Description

Part of the primary role for SNOW presales is to enable the sales team to successfully deliver Snow software accurately and effectively.

As part of the Presales team, it is your responsibility to become a technical and license evangelist. You will be based in JHB and will be able to work across the Africa region.

Snow Software is a constantly evolving organisation, with new technologies and processes. Because of this, the role may involve creating documentation for new products, presentations and training

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

In this role, you will be responsible for many technical aspects of the sales cycle for the Snow products, as well as helping to ensure customer satisfaction. The role will consist of working with large enterprises deploying SNOW software to help them in better managing their users and licenses, contracts and use/access of engines. You will work with other members of the SNOW Products Sales and Services teams.

Primary responsibilities will include:

* Conduct Company/ Product Presentations
* Prepare and present product demonstrations
* Identify, evaluate, and recommend proof of concept opportunities
* Assist in developing Sales Proposals and Price Quotations
* Provide Technical Sales Support
* Prepare and provide input for technical sections of RFPs/ RFQs
* Communicate with our software engineering group on issues identified from field observations and customer questions/feedback.

Requirements

Qualifications

* 5+ years of contract and licensing experience
* Should have significant background in SNOW or similar Software Asset Management solutions.
* Strong knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) essential
