Product Manager

Job description / Role

Responsibilities:
• Develops business plans and product positioning in the market place
• Develops and executes comprehensive marketing strategies, plans and programs for products to support short term and long term sales and revenue objectives of organization
• Researches, analyzes, and monitors financial, technological and market factors to capitalize on market opportunities and minimize effects of competitive activity
• Plans and oversees advertising and promotion activities including print, online, electronic media, and direct mail
• Oversees strategy, development and production of promotional literature and collateral materials
• Maintains strong interface with sales force and external thought leaders
• Manages and coordinate relationships with our major material suppliers
• Oversees and evaluates market research and adjusts marketing strategy to meet changing market and competitive conditions
• Establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners
• Resolves conflicts to ensure objective fulfillment and swift response to sales and marketing problems and opportunities
• Expert on promoted products as well as competitive products
• Guides preparation of reports on sales development and presents to executive management
• Establishes and maintains a consistent brand image throughout all promotional materials, and events
• Coordinates and attends major national, and regional trade shows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience required in developing brand marketing or launching a product in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical industry required
• MBA preferred
• Understanding of relevant industry guidelines
