Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer

We have a great opportunity to join our client in the sunny Spain! We need a Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer to join a dynamic and growing IT solutions company specialised in providing cutting edge customised solutions within a fun, agile and innovative environment.

We’re looking for an experienced Network and Infrastructure Administrator/Engineer to take contribute to the following:
• Long term IT Infrastructure strategy and roadmap setting; covering data center, system admin, voice/data and network
• Design, implement and support networking in offices, data centers and private cloud environments
• Lead the daily operations of the Infra Services team
• Create and implement customer web application firewall rules as well as router and network configurations
• Oversee the assessment and capacity planning schedule to ensure continuous improvement and availability of systems
• Liaise with senior stakeholders as part of acting as a senior member of the IT Team

Requirements

• Relevant technical degree and ideally industry recognised certifications
• Extensive commercial experience working within the IT Infra and Networking space
• Experience with Unix/Linux and web-related programming and scripting, such as Perl, PHP, Shell scripting
• Experience in Internet technologies/protocols including TCP/IP, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS and web servers
• Experience in creating and delivering advanced network security solutions (routing/switching, IDS/IPS, Firewall/VPN, security Event Management, Data loss prevention, web application protections)
• Experience in web application security field
• Configuring cisco and juniper routers
• Experience in web application firewall concepts
