Job description / Role
To review and analyze forecast and actual financial statements to produce accurate, timely and reliable management reports for senior management decision making.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Management Reporting;
Review and analyze monthly Management and Statutory Reports of Business Units to ensure the accuracy, timeliness and reliability of the reports.
Forecasting;
Review and analyze the Forecasts of Business Units in order to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the reports,
Cognos Controller;
Check and review reporting through cognos controller in order to ensure proper application of the system,
Technical Support on Reporting and Reconciliation;
Provide support to Business Units in closing of books of accounts, forecasting, reconciliation and resolving technical accounting issues,
IFRS;
Perform Business Units IFRS GAP analysis in order to ensure business units are IFRS compliant,
Financial System Implementation;
Assist in financial system implementation in order to provide the required technical input and support.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related fields.
ACCA, CPA or similar Accounting certificate is desirable
• Knowledge of IFRSs and GAAP,
• Ability to interpret and summarize detail and complex accounting transactions,
• Data management, analysis & tracking skill,
• Strong investigation and coordination skill,
• Ability to assist and work in team effectively,
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally & in writing,
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft & Accounting Software – Tier one ERPs solutions.
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in big company.
