Senior Contracts Manager

Job description / Role

Manage the formal governance of KSC contracts, ensuring KSC’s interests are represented in all contracts negotiations, and subsequent efficient management

•Formulate, coordinate and manage procurement tenders
•Negotiate with suppliers to draw up procurement contracts
•Negotiate, administer, extend, terminate, and renegotiate contracts as and when necessary
•Direct and coordinate activities of other departments engaged in formulating bid proposals
•Evaluate and monitor contract performance to determine necessity for amendments, extensions of contracts, and compliance to contractual obligations.
•Manage of Contract Risk
•Assess requests for deviations from contract specifications and delivery schedules for approval or rejection
•Analyzes price proposals, financial reports, and other data to determine best contract price

Requirements

Knowledge and Experience
•At least 10 years experience working in negotiating and managing large contracts in the construction and manufacturing industries

Skills and Competencies
•Good communications and interpersonal skills
•Financial / Commercial background and qualifications
•Broad knowledge of contract law
