Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Responsibilities:
• Work cross functionally with management and leadership to oversee and coordinate safety and security efforts that align with cybersecurity, regulatory, corporate and legal objectives.
• Analyze, evaluate and report the efficiency and effectiveness of existing safety and security systems.
• Develop, write and implement standard operating procedures, company objectives, polices, protocols and guidelines based on root cause analysis.
• Create and oversee the implementation, training and maintenance of systems designed to protect our staff, guests and equipment.
• Manage all aspects of systems and equipment related to: video, access, alarm and monitoring.
• Establish and maintain professional relationships with counterparts in related industries/disciplines to obtain a common understanding of like problems and known solutions.
• Ensure compliance with company objectives and mandated federal, state, and municipal requirements.
• Through multi-departmental collaboration, create standardized investigations guidelines.
• Manage the day-to-day administration of the corporate investigations program, and related activities.
• Create measurable reporting processes to compile and publish case management metrics.
• Through multi-departmental collaboration develop and organize safety, security, and environmental compliance training program
• Personally conducts high-priority topic training; and regularly attends communications/meetings to reinforce culture of safety and security.
• Create and manage budgets specific to safety and security.
• Design and development of tools to automate alert and response methods.
• Hire, train and assess performance of direct reports.
• Provide guard service as needed.
• Be the first responder to incidents as needed.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:
• 4+ Years’ experience working in the corporate safety and security industry or related field.
• Experience building and maintaining a safety and security vision for a medium-large organization.
• Must demonstrate excellent communication, people leadership, and teamwork skills.
• Have prior experience in conducting in-depth and complex corporate investigations around workplace violence and related cases/issues/incidents.
• Possess a high level of writing and analytical skills with a high technical aptitude.
• Have technical skills that allow for liaising with information technology partners to implement technical solutions specific to safety and security needs.
• Have proven conflict management / diffusion skills.
• Can work with highly confidential information.
• Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and executing a big picture safety and security strategy across global markets.
• Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and attacks associated with typical technology office infrastructure.
• Experience with security tools for performing vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection, integrity checking and event management.
• Must be able to work constructively in a fast-paced, team environment, and remain calm and professional under stress.
• Knowledge of safety and security compliance specific to publicly traded, merchant account processing technology companies. Willingness to take part on a 24/7 on-call rotation.
