Employment: Full Time

Leading International Architecture firm are looking for an Associate Directorwho will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of world class projects around South-East Asia. This person will already be in a similar position of responsibility, leading teams and organising projects, and should be familiar with commercial projects and international standards. This firm are looking for a proactive candidate who will be responsible for leading the design and coordination of multiple mixed-use developments in South-East Asia from initial concept to delivery. Managing client relationships and internal project operations, this individual will have a combination of operations and project responsibility.

Job Description / Responsibilities:
• Leading the design of concepts for new architectural projects.
• Client management and relationship management at highest level
• Overseeing the Planning and organisation, team and resources for successful delivery of individual packages/presentations, from initial ideas to detailed drawings.
• Ensuring the team are meeting deadlines set by clients and ensuring that a high quality of design is consistently maintained across projects.
• Ensuring that the team is motivated and focused on achieving high-quality design, following company guidelines, meeting international standards and delivering to targets.
• Coordinating any specific demands from clients with other consultants and technical teams.
• Reviewing project progress, design elements, technical drawings and construction details and specifications and supervising quality regularly.
• Constant contact with suppliers of products, materials, furniture and equipment for the latest information.
• Familiarity with planning regulations, feasibility studies and coordination with planning departments for enquiries on the viability of projects.

Requirements

Candidate Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related fields.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in designing commercial architectural projects or large-scale developments.
• Experience fostering client relationships and enhancing business development opportunities
• Good design principles and clear communication skills.
• Tracking the latest world design trends and innovations.
• Possessing a passion for design quality and excellence.
• Strong leadership, self-organisation and coordination skills.
• High integrity, good problem solving and displaying initiative.
• Team leader, team player and proactive.
• Knowledge of parametric design or form-finding skills with Revit and/or Rhino would be an advantage.
• Good command of both spoken and written English.
