Job description / Role
• EXPAT in Thailand
• Bachelor or Vocational Degree in Engineering or related field experience
• Primavera Software expert level
• Age 40 minimum
• 10 years’ experience in Planning fabrication/installation work: Module, Platform, Fabrication or FPSO projects
• Good command of English in both speaking and writing
• Good skill related to area and system planning on all discipline.
• Provide advice and support to company construction projects in all planning activities.
• Support the company construction team, in all planning issues needed (e.g. System Plan, Room Plan, Level 5 & Overall Planning) for construction matters, engineering clarifications (same understanding), structure interface with subcontractors and client, as well as monitoring daily progress and activities at work site.
• Be a senior resource for the project planning in all disciplines.
• Extensive experience planning of big multi-discipline projects for onshore/offshore construction installations.
• Report directly to Construction Manager in the Site Team.
• Provide Method Statements and working instructions
• Monitor, expedite and coordinate activities within areas of responsibility.
• Ensure deliverables regarding planning are completed on due time, in accordance with the project schedules.
• Follow up to ensure that reporting of work progress is performed every week.
• Assist in handling of technical challenges such as NCR, SQ, etc.
• Report on envisaged critical activities
• Implement quality standards and ensure that the work is done to the specified quality.
• Manage HSE activities within area of responsibility.
• Assist on daily/weekly reports on progress, challenges, upsides, downsides and so on
• Adapt project strategies and philosophies to day-to-day operations in own responsible area
• Clarify technical issues and be the main connection between planning and engineering.
• Provide advice in relation to the execution of work within planned budget
• Provide advice related to the execution of productivity improvements and cost reduction activities.
