Employment: Full Time

Overview / Responsibilities
Wood is presently inviting applications for the SP3D Administrator role at our Abu Dhabi Engineering office.

Below are some key responsibilities and duties:
- Create and maintain the SP3D Project Data base and Project Plant structure
- Responsible for Managing the Project Plant structure
- Setting up project in Global Work share and Standalone environment.
- Manage the project SP3D set up and customization activities.
- Manage the installation of SP-3D software and related software on user workstations and manage the use of licenses among users
- Administrate SP3D user Licenses
- Proficient in setup and integration of 3D Design Review Tools of such as Smart Plant Review, Navisworks etc.
- Hands on experience on integration of third-party tools with S3D (e.g. SACS, Caesar)
- Adaptability towards different SEED files and managing the project setup / configuration as per desired PBS and Naming rules and other project requirements.
- Create project backups and restore the model, catalog and drawing data, schedule and validate all SP3D data base back-ups for the project
- Familiarity with laser scan point clouds and the use of Cloud monitoring tool is a plus
- Create and Maintain Plot files
- Creation and maintenance of Orthographic Drawing set up to meet client requirements
- Creation and maintenance of isometric drawing set up and isometric trouble shooting
- Recovery of files as requested by the project
- Responsible for all SP3D and SP3D related CAD software including support design and configuration of Piping, structural, Electrical, Equipment (all disciplines)
- Pipe class development, support standardization & customization
- Interference detection
- Drawing template creation and customization of all discipline deliverables
- Creation and Maintenance of SP3D reference Data catalogues
- Interface with additional related software such as Smart Plant Instrumentation, Smart Plant P&ID, Smart Plant Engineering Manager, Smart Plant Electrical, Smart Plant Foundation, Micro station. Ability to carry out the administration activities for this additional software such as SPPID/SPI/SP Electrical is also essential
- Set Up the SP Tools Environment on Citrix for Sub Contractors & Vendors.
- Publish & retrieve drawing, document, and model in SPF environment
- Administrate and maintaining the Integrated Environment among SPMHE, SPPID and SPF.
- Create and Administrate the Global Workshare environment
- Create new pipe supports, Name rule and Drawing styles as per drawing
- Knowledge of CAD application such as Micro station, Smart sketch & AutoCAD.
- Training, sharing experiences among team members to enhance and standardize SP3D/PDMS activities
- Good team member and proactive approach towards problem solving

Requirements

Skills / Qualifications
- Min. Experience: 12+ years
- Minimum 3+ years in SP3D administration and 3+ years in PDMS is preferred
- Hold a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant Engineering Discipline.
- Have at least 3 years' experience as an SP3D Administrator
- Should have undergone training for all the SP3D administration modules conducted by INTERGRAPH.
