Job description / Role
Job Responsibilities:
• Work with Mechanical and Electrical Engineers to understand the project requirements and specifications
• Produce Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), single line Diagrams (SLDs) as per the design requirements.
• Preliminary Layout design of MCP modules and skids in AutoCAD 2D.
• Develop 3D models of Chiller/ pump modules and skids (Structural/ mechanical / Electrical) using Revit Software.
• Generate General Arrangement, Elevations & Sections drawings from the 3D model.
• Generate and prepare piping isometric and Bill of Quantities (BOQ) from the 3D model.
• Generate and prepare detailed Structural fabrication drawings from the 3D model.
• Create wiring diagrams for power and controls systems with details.
Requirements
Experience & Knowledge:
• Minimum Six years’ experience in AutoCAD Software.
• Minimum four years’ experience in Autodesk Revit Software.
• Minimum four years’ experience in Modular Chiller Plant or District Cooling Plant design in the Middle East
• Ability to produce 3D models as per the project requirement and specification.
• Ability to select pipe sizes based on water flow, Pressure drop and velocity.
• Knowledge of structural steel design.
• Knowledge of MEP design.
• Experience in electrical and controls CAD.
Education:
• Diploma in mechanical drafting
Skills:
• Excellent level of verbal and written English
• Fully computer literate in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook/Lotus Notes, Windows
