Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

As an Account Director you will personally own the task of developing strategic client relationships with a number of named clients. You will not be satisfied with any relationship where you are seen as just a supplier.

You will work towards a position where clients seek out your views involving you in both strategic and operational discussions. Elevating yourself to this position allows you to deliver stronger levels of influence over your client’s perspectives, views, and decision-making. Getting this depth of relationship will be critical to your principle task, developing the profitable revenue from your client(s). Your account planning activity will allow you to identify the total addressable spend within your client(s) that our business can deliver against. Your account plan will detail the steps and enablers necessary to maximize our share of that.

Qualified candidates will have extensive previous client- or agency-side marketing management experience and be able to “hit the ground running” in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be comfortable building relationships.

Requirements

• More than 10 years related experience in account management, sales, marketing, or interactive solutions
• Experience working with or understanding of emerging digital technology, email, communications and social media.
• Strong commercial acumen & previous ownership of financial targets / budgets
• Familiarity with the loyalty industry desired
• Exhibit strong results oriented behavior
• Excellent organizational, analytical, interpersonal, presentation and communication skills
• Proven track record in building long-term client relationships and managing stakeholders (internal & external)
• Demonstrable experience successfully leading, motivating and managing a team.
• Excellent communication skills with clarity of expression and engaging style.
• Experience working with and comprehending complex data.
• Highly proactive with a “can-do” attitude
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and Power Point
• The ability to work with small teams from different specialisms in a project based environment
• Fluent in English and preferably Arabic
