Account Manager

Job description / Role

Charterhouse is working with a family-run asset management firm based in Dubai. Our client is looking to continue their growth in the region by making a number of hires across the business, with a particular focus on adding Account Managers to their team.

Our client’s core market is in UK property and natural resources, so as an Account Manager, the main responsibility will be to attract new clients and investment through the firm’s fixed income and private equity offerings by relying on your existing network, as well as hunting for brand new business made up of High Net Worth and institutional clients.

The Manager should have the ability to identify new business opportunities and onboard new partners and introducers for the fund offerings as well as ensure that there is a high level of client and introducer support.

This role will be working closely with junior Business Development Associates, therefore, there will be an element of mentoring involved with this position.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, successful candidates must have at least 5 years of experience within financial and asset management industries in Dubai. The candidates should have extensive knowledge of offshore markets and how they work, and have a natural ability to explain products and offerings to both individual and institutional clients.

Our client is looking for someone with an existing network of wealth managers, introducers and HNW individuals that they can approach from day one. The selected candidates should also have the ability to build and maintain new relationships to ensure that they are hitting the AUM targets monthly.
