Job description / Role
Our client is a multi-national provider of transport communications and systems engineering solutions with over 3000 employees worldwide and a major hub located in Dubai, serving the MENA region. One of their specialisms is the supply of type B communications systems to airlines and airports.
A role has just become vacant for a Senior Account Manager to be the point of contact for Airlines currently using their communications products and services. The role is MENA wide meaning travel to all the relevant locations on a weekly basis. You will be responsible for ensuring relationships are managed, products and services are cross sold within those client accounts and around 30% of your role will be developing new business.
Requirements
Preference is for an Arabic speaker, however this is not essential. Ideally you will have experience with type B communications, but this is rare so an understanding of IT systems related to aviation would suffice.
The main requirement for the role is a background of business development or account management within the airline industry. You must have experience of dealing with key accounts with airlines and airports.
