Job description / Role

Job Title: Accountant

Reports to: Regional GM/Accountant

Job Location: Dubai

Essential Functions: Tasks that are Fundamental to the Position

Main Responsibilities:

- Report to regional General Manager/ Accountant
- Functionally reports to Head Office Financial Controller.
- Responsible for all cash management activities of My Network; and perform cash flow analysis and forecasts
- Responsible for month end closing, business' strategic planning, business reviews, budgeting, forecasting and management reporting.
- Ensure integrity and timeliness of reporting to management and to Head office
- Manage banking relations well and follow up necessary bank documents
- Liaise with local bankers, external auditors and relevant government departments
- Coordinate with regional Accountant and Head office Financial Controller to fulfill all local statutory filing requirements.
- Work with warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

Requirements & Qualification

- Recognized certificate holder in Accounting
- Member with a recognized accounting qualification e.g. ACCA is preferred.
- 5 years or above relevant experience in financial operations, accounting, reporting and tax filing gained with MNC
- UAE experience is required
- Experience in reviewing business contracts.
- Experience in local statutory, tax and banking regulations in UAE countries.
- Good commercial and business acumen
- Details oriented with analytical mind. Ability to work under pressure, independently, and on tight deadlines
- A good command in oral and written English
- Good systems skills including Excel and ERP software

Qualifications: Educational or Experiential Requirements for the Job

- Bachelor degree , ACCA is Preferred
- Arab Language and experience in UAE is preferable
