Job description / Role

The Financial System and Accounting Leader will be responsible for handling Financials systems, taxes and accounting tasks for the branches of the Business Unit in Dubai as per the local requirements and to answer all the queries and perform ad hoc report for the Business Unit Accounting Department in Dubai.

Requirements

Documentation & Control
• Support on the implementation of SAP and interface to IFS and BFC.
• Maintain and follow up on SAP database and informations.
• Technical support for SAP accounting, IFS accounting and BFC Reporting ERPs.
• Improve Financial IS for more efficiency internally as for external relations Bank etc….
• Taxes flows understanding, process proposals and chart and taxes declaration for the establishment within the BU.
• Develop Financial reports on actuals, budget and various ad hoc analysis report, dashboard and KPIs.
• Liaise with Controlling department for analysis report on overheads, revenue.
• Assists the Head of Accounting for the ruling of accounts and review of accounting processes.
• Prepares the various discreet statements or studies required by the Head of accounting and Country Managers.
• Assist the Head of Accounting and Country Managers in gathering and organizing the information required for the monthly invoice pertaining to supervision projects.
• Ascertains that all relevant documents are in place and appropriate before payment approval is made.
• Deal and follow up with the bank for activities like timely transfers, deposits, withdrawals and collection of advices, cheque books and bank statements.
• Performs proper and explanatory filing system for petty cash, journal vouchers, and checks transaction vouchers for the office.
• Management of intercompany within the Business Unit.
• Arrangement with the bank to get online payment to facilitate payroll, supplier’s payment and reduce level of cheques.
• Follow up on expenses claims before scan and submissions of receipt/listing to Dubai and refund to the employee as per the travel expenses policy and focus on compliance rules related to fraud and integrity.
• Support for internal audit and external audit and taxes auditors.
• Follow up of cash flow and initiation of transfer request for cash from/to Paris.
