Accountant

Job description / Role

• The position entails offering diverse accounting outsourcing and review services, advising on VAT and corporate tax, and ensuring compliance for clients.
• Compile financial statements and scrutinize management budgets.
• Conduct monthly analyses of balance sheets, income statements, and financial position variances.
• Regularly reconcile accounts to maintain accurate reporting and ledger integrity.
• Contribute to forecasting and setting financial standards.
• Oversee accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in developing and documenting business processes and accounting policies.
• Collaborate on intricate accounting projects and initiatives with colleagues within the accounting and finance department or across other departments.

• At least two to three years of general accounting experience.
• Bachelor’s / Master's degree in accounting, finance, math, business administration, or a related field
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
• Knowledge of accounting, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, ESR, Transfer Pricing. (BEPS 2.0 and CbCR is an advantage).
• Intermediate knowledge of legal / regulatory requirements in the UAE such as licensing requirements, permissible operations in the free zones.
