Job description / Role
Position Required; Accountant
Experience: With minimum of 2 work related experience in United Arab Emirates. Immediately Joining
A well-established company requires a Filipino Accountant, willing to join immediately and available in UAE, with minimum of 5 working years of experience preferably in UAE.
Responsibilities and Duties:
• Post and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded
• Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
• Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
• Prepare balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements according to legal and company accounting and financial guidelines
• Hands on UAE VAT implementation experience (Input VAT & Output VAT)
• Review and check expenses, payroll calculation/records
• Update financial data in database to ensure that information will be accurate and immediately available when needed
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
• Preparation monthly/yearly closings
• Follow up payments from clients
• Perform admin and clerical works
Requirements
Qualifications and Skills:
• Accounting or Finance Graduate
• Advanced computer skills on MS Office, Accounting software, Databases, Sage, Tally, Peach Tree
• Ability to record large amounts of data and to compile detailed reports
• Proven knowledge of auditing standards and procedures
• Expertise in Accounts & Financial Management
• High attention to detail and excellent accounting and analytical skills
• Sound independent judgment
