Accounts Finance Manager

Job description / Role

As an Accounts Manager in our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial health of the company, managing the accounting team, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements in the United Arab Emirates.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain financial accounting systems for cash management, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit control, and petty cash.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Implement and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Lead and manage the accounting team, providing guidance, support, and training as needed.
- Coordinate and assign tasks to team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of financial activities.
- Collaborate with department heads to prepare annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis reports.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors.
- Review and approve vendor payments and ensure adherence to credit terms.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in financial management.
- Stay updated on changes in local financial regulations and ensure the company's compliance.

Salary:
AED 5,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CMA) is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Accounts Manager or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE accounting principles and regulations.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office Suite.
