Employment: Full Time

Due to continued business growth and with exciting projects in the pipeline, We are looking for Superstars to join our team of highly motivated professionals working in a fast-paced motorsport environment, based at the Dubai Autodrome.

Reporting directly to the Accounts Manager you will be responsible for Accounts Payable:
- To proactively manage the Accounts Payable process, including the timely and accurate processing and payment of all compliant and approved creditor invoices.
- Verify invoices against purchase orders and ensure goods or services were received before issuing payment to vendors.
- Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data.
- Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure that all bills and payments are accounted for and properly posted.
- Verify and investigate discrepancies, if any, by reconciling vendor accounts and monthly vendor statements
- Generate reports detailing accounts payables status.
- Charge expenses to accounts and cost centres and control petty cash spending.
- Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes.
- Correspond with vendors and respond to inquiries.
- Assist with month end closing.
- Management of inventory levels by monitoring stock levels and ordering additional supplies when needed.
- Communicating with suppliers regarding orders and shipping schedules
- Making shipping arrangements as necessary
- Reviewing Quotations from potential new suppliers to determine if they would be a good fit for the company.
- Preparing reports on inventory levels and purchase activity to help management make business decisions.

Requirements

We are a small team with a big vision and the ideal candidate should have several years experience within the UAE or GCC, and be familiar with accounting practices along with procurement procedures and stock management.

- Proven work experience as an Accounts Payable Specialist or similar role
- Advanced competency in accounting and business management software
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards and industry regulations
- Extensive experience in account reconciliation
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Excellent collaboration and communication abilities
- Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of company and partner information.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
- Well mannered, hardworking, a positive team player with excellent written and spoken English
- Ability to communicate with a wide range of people and nationalities
- Can-do attitude
- Flexibility to work evenings or weekends, where our business dictates
- Well adverse with all Microsoft packages and general IT knowledge
- Proactive problem solving and solution finding
