Accounts Receivable Assistant

Job description / Role

- Processing day to day transactions, such as invoice creation, sales receipts
- Customer statements of account,
- Credit control, following up on receipts, adjusting customer credit limits and liaising with sales team to ensure that all debt is collected.
- Drive the collection process to minimise the company’s receivables.
- Ability to contact customer via telephone, letter and email
- Resolve customer queries in a timely manner
- Follow the collection process in line with company protocols and credit insurance policy
- Update SAGE (SAGE experience preferable)
- Reconcile and allocate payments to accounts, and update the live cash flow
- Visit customers which are in breach of their terms and secure payment
- Be able to communicate with all levels of staff ie management and sales team
- Ensuring all invoices are posted in a timely fashion and take ownership of these
- Sending SOA to customer on request
- Coordinate and collect the weekly cheque and cash receipts
- Bank funds daily and post daily ensure accounts reconcile to the bank
- Other Ad Hoc duties

Requirements

To apply for this role you must have 2 years credit control experience preferably in an FMCG company. Must work well under pressure. You must have a valid driving license (UAE), preferably with a car.

Requirements
- Strong educational background educated to Diploma / Degree Level
- Previous experience in bookkeeping / credit control
- Must hold valid UAE driving Licence
