Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Overall management of a large accounting assignment covering all facets of Accounting including assisting with the budgeting process and management reporting. Role would require significant people management skills with the need to handle a large team from varied backgrounds. Other than managing the day to day operations, client relationship management would also be a major responsibility of the candidate.

Report to - ACR Manager and Head of Treasury (client)

General Responsibilities
- Motivate team and be a visible team leader
- Manage team expectation and resolve People issues on ground

Specific Areas of Responsibility

Treasury
- In collaboration with the Head of Treasury, executes the company’s funding strategy, including debt modelling and bank/lender compliance requests;
- Build cash flow projections in consultation with Planning and Budgeting, and Corporate Office
- Execute the day-to-day cash activities of the organisation, including cash flows and bank balances;
- Keeping abreast with the macroeconomic market trends;
- Participates in the procurement of credit deposit quotes and interest rates;
- Performs other duties as may be required by the Head of Treasury.

Internal Processes
- To assist on issues pertaining to Internal Audit, if any.
- To assist with compliance of DWTC credit policies.
- To help analyse and report on compliance with credit policy and recommend action to rectify where appropriate.
- To assist in ensuring all external reporting complies with required regulatory and professional standards, particularly IFRS

Requirements

- Necessary - University degree or equivalent professional qualification.
- Preferred - CA/CPA/CMA/ACCA/CFA (or equivalent).
- At least 5 years professional experience, with 3 years as a Senior for managing treasury operations
- Cash flow Planning experience, with experience in Hyperion an advantage
- Managing a large team
- Experience in Oracle desirable
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proven time management skill
- Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and relevant laws
- Proven experience working under tight deadlines and prioritizing workload accordingly.
- Excellent Excel modeling skills (Setup of Discounted Cash Flow models, Pivot tables, Charts, Graphs and Formula driven skills such as Vlookup, Hlookup, Sumif, Goal Seek, NPV, IRR,)
- Excellent PowerPoint skills (Embedded Charts, Graphs)
- Excellent Written and Oral English skills
