Job description / Role
This is an amazing opportunity to work for a new tech start-up here in Dubai – who are building a completely greenfield solution allowing people and companies to make payments easier and better.
They require a bright and energetic Quality Assurance Specialist responsible for testing new mobile and web based payment solutions they are creating; This will involve:
• Create test cases and scripts to verify business, functional and non-functional requirements
• Identify and log defects accordingly
• Document test results and analyse data to make recommendations on how best to improve the systems
• Take ownership of the full end-to-end acceptance testing including test planning, scheduling and execution
Requirements
The client is looking to build a very Agile team and as such will need candidates who have worked within agile environments previously.
Candidates will need knowledge and experience in the following areas:
• Extensive experience working within a QA / Testing function
• Knowledge of test management tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, Test Rail
• Experience working with Agile methodologies
• Any knowledge and/or experience of test automation tools would be highly beneficial
• Knowledge of web application technologies
• Database query skills using SQL
• Experience in high-traffic consumer sites and/or the payment solutions space
• Industry recognised testing certificates such as ISTQB or CSQA
