Job description / Role
• Responsible for the implementation of the DAX/Retail system and to ensure that all business requirements are addressed in accordance with the business sub-unit needs
• Responsible for Managing the user training, providing user support & implementing specific configurations where applicable.
• Ensure that all Project tasks are completed on time and in accordance with the Project scope & requirements.
• To manage the Applications build in-house and bought externally to support Business operations and provide all user level support to the end users.
• To work as the main Functional lead in the enhancement of ERP system in co-ordination with the Central AX team.
• Study, Plan and Execute the integration of the ERP system with other Business applications of the company.
• To work with Central IT Consultants and ensure that corporate goals are consistently achieved and maintained.
• To ensure that all procedures and working practices adhere to those defined in Standard Operations Manual.
• To ensure that all activities are carried out in accordance with company Environmental, Health & Safety policy.
• To maintain a professional and polite attitude at all times.
• Undertake other duties that may from time to time prove necessary.
Requirements
• 5-7 years of working experience in a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of ERP/DAX, application design & development and relational databases.
• Demonstrated experience in the implementation of Microsoft Dynamics Axapta/AX.
• Working knowledge of SQL Server database & utilities.
• Operational know how on processes & procedures.
• Clear understanding of financial processes and controls.
• Conceptual knowledge of all or one of the following areas: Inventory Management, Food Service Industry, Financial management, Retail
• Managing a team of Consultants
• Well Developed communication skills.
• Must have sound knowledge of English written, spoken and read.
• Hard working, Team player, self motivated, focused with a “can do” attitude.
• Formal qualification in the field of IT.
• Ability to work under strict timelines and unsupervised.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.
