We are a fast-growing financial trading company based in Dubai that employs cutting edge quantitative mathematical and financial models to trade global financial markets. We are looking for Applied Math professionals / Statistician / Astro Physicist to join our Data Science team and support the mathematical side of our algorithmic trading models. With your strong abilities in mathematics and statistics, you would work directly with traders, providing them with pricing or trading tools and will validate the models, conduct research and create new trading strategies. Working in quantitative and applied Math involves research, the development and implementation of mathematical models, data analysis, general financial knowledge, and many other elements.

Requirements

Required Skills
• PhD or Master’s Degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Econometrics, or other quantitative discipline.
• Mastery of Advanced calculus, Stochastic calculus and Probability theory.

Desired Skills
• Knowledge in Python, R or Matlab; C++ would help, but not required
• Familiarity with machine learning, Bayesian statistics and time series analysis.
• Exposure to handling large datasets and efficient numerical algorithms.
