What you'll be doing

As a Trainee Copywriter, you'll play a crucial role in crafting compelling descriptions and product information for our Brand's ecommerce platform. Your primary tasks will involve daily input of product details and writing concise editorial copy covering fabric information, fit type, and functional details.

Key Responsibilities:

- Organization:
- Adhere to all eCommerce policies, processes, and standard operating procedures for consistent work execution.

Operational:

- Execute tasks with minimal supervision, escalating complex issues as needed for efficient resolution.
- Utilize daily spreadsheets to compile and craft product descriptions across the website.
- Input detailed product information such as wash care, fabric composition, and dimensions into Excel sheets for upload.
- Collaborate closely with ecommerce merchandising, styling, and photography teams to ensure accurate product information reflecting imagery.
- Meet tight deadlines, completing all products on daily lists by the end of each working day.
- Foster positive relationships with buying and merchandising teams to ensure accurate online product representation.
- Stay informed about SEO considerations for product descriptions and titles, collaborating with the Digital Marketing team as needed.

Requirements

- Maintain consistency with the Brand's tone of voice across all written descriptions.
- Update a copy style guide with new terms and descriptions.
- Monitor and ensure accuracy of all product copy used on the website, aligning with the Brand's standards.
