On behalf of our client, a European manufacturer of Thermal Insulation products for the building envelope we are recruiting an experienced Technical Sales Manager (Arabic Speaker) to be based in Dubai and handling the UAE + wider GCC region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for Technical Material Business Development, Specification and Sales.

You will report to the Managing Director in the UAE and also reporting to Europe.

Job Responsibilities:
• Learn the technical details concerning their range of products and respective applications and how these products add value to the Building Envelope.
• Create new sales and marketing strategies that target their broad range of customers from Consultants to Contractors and positions their products as the best solutions for prospective clients.
• Manage customer relations by soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data they receive through all channels.
• Generate high-quality sales leads and follow up after initial meeting.
• Identify areas where they can improve customer satisfaction and repeat business, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to upper management.
• Set and achieve sales goals and quotas on a monthly and quarterly basis.

Requirements

Candidates must be either an Architect, Civil or Mechanical Engineer and have a proven track record dealing with Architects and Consultants to get products specified where required and have existing relationships with Contractors and end users in sales of construction products.

Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Built Environment, Architecture & or a Construction Related Tertiary Level Education.

Candidate Profile:
• Fluent Arabic Speaker
• Previous sales experience
• 4+ years’ experience in the Construction Industry
• Excellent communication skills
• A clear understanding of the GCC Construction Market space with an existing network of contacts within the Architectural, Building Consultant and or Contractor Communities.
• Valid UAE Driving License

Qualities:
• Highly result oriented and committed to the sales targets
• Demonstrable Track Record of over-achieving quota
• Self motivated and driven
• Familiarity with project management solutions a plus
