Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Job Scope: To provide the main point of contact for all administrative functions and dealings with federal agencies requiring an Arabic speaker and also to provide Arabic teaching children in the nursery.

The role has dual responsibility for the nursery administration and admissions and implementing effective processes and procedures for managing admissions and marketing, whilst also leading the teaching of Arabic for older children. The skills required for the role therefore include good organizational and administrative skills, excellent communication and Arabic teaching qualifications.

Main Duties and Responsibilities (Teaching)
- Teaching Arabic to groups of children
- Provide feedback and any reports to parents on the progress made by children
- Liaise closely with teaching staff to ensure an Arabic programme that builds on children’s needs and levels of competence
- Work with teachers to create consolidation and enrichment opportunities for the Arabic language
- Planning and implementing a curriculum programme for early Arabic language

Administration:
- Manage administrative staff and contribute towards training on administrative procedures; maintaining a safe and secure work environment; developing personal growth opportunities.
- Provide the main Arabic contact for federal and local government agencies to which the nursery has to deal with in the pursuit of their operation
- Supporting in the set up and implementation of performance management including; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results; coaching, counseling, and enforcing systems, policies, and procedures.
- Organize work schedules for staff in liaison with the nursery manager.
- Administer the admissions and registration processes and bookings for additional after nursery care and enrichment programmes along with school transport.
- Attend meetings designed to share information necessary for the smooth running of the nursery and the successful delivery of its aims
- To constructively contribute to nursery improvements and to implement agreed whole nursery policies/initiatives

Salary & Benefits: 7,000 – 9,000 AED per month plus other benefits depending on qualifications and experience.
Contract: 2 year contract with the option for renewal

Requirements

- Masters/Bachelor degree in Arabic or Bachelors/Masters degree in business administration would be an advantage
- Minimum of 1 yr teaching Arabic in Primary/Early Years
- Additional experience in Staffing, Quality Management, Managing Processes, Organization, Coaching, Communication Processes, Disciplining Employees, Motivating Others, Promoting Process Improvement, Reporting Skills

MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- Exceptional relationships and communication skills
- Arabic and English fluency
- Good people management, time management and organizational management skill
- The ability to enthuse and generate trust
- Ability to keep up to date and innovate with development in Early Years Care.
- Business and budgeting skills
- Ability to meet deadlines & targets.

Additional Requirements:
- Has experience in dealing with federal and government agencies in the UAE
