English and Arabic speaking (French would be an advantage).

RESPONSIBILITIES

Define and propose the area Strategy
- By customer/shop
- By brand, axe, product,
- By type of investment

Set up the commercial strategy of the area to develop market shares and our brands’ ranking
- Negotiate annual commercial agreements and Trade Marketing Plans
- Build to commercial agreements to by ensuring growth and rentability on our brands: prices’ structures, payment terms, investments, budgets…
- In collaboration with marketing teams, propose and ensure the follow-up of a dynamic Trade Marketing Operations plan (sales events targets and targeted rentability).
- Negotiate merchandising spaces.

Boost the annual Sales’ turnover of your retailers
- Analyze our brands positioning VS competitors, identify development areas and propose some actions’ plans to boost and develop brand renown.
- Follow the sell in/ sell out, merge
- Optimize products’ range portfolio and stock’s levels
- Think about improvement actions, corrective plans
- Identify new prospects and propose to the management a medium-term development plan.

Sell-in/Sell-out Follow-up & area reporting
- Be in charge of:
- Area Sales turnover: sell-in/sell-out/stock
- Area sell-out action plan: by shop & by commercial line
- Monthly stock analysis
- Monthly report by brand and set-up corrective actions plan with Field supervisors
- Define rolling forecast
- Participate to area news forecasts

Pilot and Manage the P&L of the area through the follow-up of KPIs.

Manage a sales coordinator: Animate, motivate, federate, train & develop.

You will be responsible for defining and proposing the area strategy based on customer/ shop, brand and type of investment. You will see to setting up the commercial strategy of the area to develop market shares and their brands’ ranking. You will be required to do a sell-in and sell-out, follow ups and area reporting. As an Area Manager, you will need to pilot and manage the P&L of the area through the follow up of KPI’s and managing a Sales Coordinator with motivating, training and development.

You will likely be a graduate from a business school or equivalent with a specialization in International Commerce.

Reporting to the Export & Travel Retail Regional Director, working in the Dubai office.

Requirements

- Graduated from a business school or equivalent with a specialization in International Commerce
- 3 to 5 years of experience in a commercial position (Area Manager or Key Account Manager) in a multicultural luxury brand environment.
- English & Arabic fluent
- French would be a plus.

As a result, we have a requirement to strengthen the team behind our client’s Givenchy & Kenzo brands, with the appointment of an AREA MANAGER- LOCAL MARKET with 3-5 years prior experience in representing luxury brands, who will be responsible for the success of their organization by:
- Increasing their brands’ performance for Givenchy & Kenzo (sell- in & sell out turnovers, market shares)
- Developing their brands’ image
- Optimizing their brands, profitability on the area you will be in charge of, in respect of Commercial & Marketing

A competitive salary circa AED25,000 neg. per month is offered + benefits, annual bonus and staff discounts. Having your own vehicle and a clean UAE driving license would be an advantage but is not essential. You will have the flexibility to travel across the GCC (not including KSA or Syria).
