Employment: Full Time

An excellent opportunity within Luxury retail. Our client, an international elite brand and one of the biggest names in luxury retail is looking for an Area Sales Manager / Trade Manager to manage its partners and clients and develop the brand in the MEA Region.

Duties and Responsibilities
Daily management of accounts, providing support and guidance in all facets of the business to develop the Companys brand in the Middle East and Africa region.

Manage assigned trade businesses (local market and travel retail) to achieve the targeted sales plan (retail and ex works sales) for the region. Daily monitoring and management of accounts, providing sales/operations support, and addressing customer (service) concerns, while adhering to Companys procedures and standards.

Provide monthly internal reports.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge on business conditions, sales history, competitive and media environment, merchandise assortment, and consumer preferences/trends in MEA markets.

Partner with internal and external groups to organize and execute new store openings.

The key liaison between the account and The Company. Collaborate with key internal departments (i.e.: Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, PR, Legal ) to aid in sales growth, merchandising, market penetration, branding awareness, and development of trade initiatives.

Travel to regions for store openings, retail/operational support, and sales development. Provide customized product, operational, and visual training for each market. Communicate information to internal groups of market activities.

Build and nurture effective working relationships with partner and staff to secure continuous feedback of business performance/progress.

Manage & develop trade staff. Ensuring direct report is monitored and trained to meet the job objectives and requirements as outlined.

Requirements

Required Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:

- BS/BA or equivalent.

- Fluency in English and Arabic (written and verbal) are mandatory.

- Total command of excel and Microsoft applications.

Preferred Qualifications/Primary Job Requirements:

- 7-10 yrs experience in luxury retailing/Customer Service/sales preferred.

- Knowledge of Middle East markets a must.
