Asian Educated Post Contract Quantity Surveyor

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client, a multi national PQS consultant we are recruiting an experienced Post Contract Quantity Surveyor to join their team and work on the site of a large scale project in Sharjah.

You will be responsible for preparation of contract documentation including bill of quantities and schedule, periodic valuations of the work in progress, performing risk and value management and cost control, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks, writing detailed progress reports and preparation and settlement of the final account.

Salary:
AED 18,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have a relevant degree in Quantity Surveying or civil engineering and preferably a student of RICS or in process of obtaining RICS.

You should have a minimum of 7-10 years of post contract experience in the Middle East region with experience in Infrastructure, buildings, landscape and theming projects. If you have worked for a Project Management and QS consultancy or Cost Consultancy it will be advantageous.

You must possess a strong personality and be able to deal with different consultants and analyse variations, claims and payment certificates among other Post Contract Duties. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills is an absolute must to succeed in this role.
