Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The assessment manager will be responsible for overall planning, budgeting, organizing, staff development, and coordination of activities required for student assessment and all activities pertinent herein. This position will require on-site inspection of the proper implementation of diagnostic; formative; and summative assessments in IAT academies and schools. It will also require identifying trends, improving practices, and informing critical decision-making.

Principal Tasks and Responsibilities:
Collaborating with the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and School Leaders to conduct significant professional development around new initiatives in the areas of student assessment and data management.
Collaborating with the Director of Institutional Effectiveness for the purpose of continuous implementation of any Institutional Effectiveness plan dictated by IAT leadership.
Assisting in devising policies and procedures to improve IAT’s intuitional effectiveness plans.
Determining a common timetable for assessments stages, and advises all pertinent academic assessment activities by helping with the selection of measurable criteria and the selection or development of appropriate instruments.
Providing faculty and staff with assessment education by arranging workshops and maintaining a pool of resources concerned with contemporary assessment methodology, ideas and practices as well as information about national and international assessment.
Partnering with school leadership teams to support school’s assessment protocols, analyze data, and support them in identifying areas for improvement.
Using assessment results as KPIs for IAT success.
Management of implementation and administration of IAT tests as well as national and international standardized exams.
Utilizing different up-to-date research findings that contribute to the enhancement and improvement of student performance in assessment.
Overseeing the development or outsourcing of appropriate electronic exam generator software and other assessment related applications.
Collaborating with academic department chairs, program directors, and administrative department heads in developing, maintaining, and conducting authentic student assessment.
Ensuring the validity and reliability of diagnostic, formative and summative assessment tools as well as the alignment among instruction, curriculum, and assessment.
Ensuring that all outgoing research articles meet internationally accepted standards.

Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor degree (Masters preferred).
A minimum of three years as an assessment manager in Education Industry.
Knowledge of the education field, including familiarity with current student assessment practices.
K – 12 Teaching experience highly preferred.
