POSITION: Assistant Brand Manager
DIVISION: Purina PetCare
LOCATION: NME HO, Dubai, United Arab Emirates
REPORTS TO: Brand Manager

Major Responsibilities:
• Assists in developing the 1-3 year rolling Grocery brand portfolio strategy in line with the Regional Business Strategy for Nestlé Purina PetCare
• Implements and evaluates all elements of agreed yearly brand plans and activations/launches within budget & timings
• Helps coordinate in the management of the NPDI process for all brands across MENA (Middle East & North Africa)
• Overall management of individual brand plans and budgets to ensure they align to strategy and achieve sales and profit targets
• Assists in development and successfully execution of Bigger, Bolder and Better innovation & renovation for her/his brands
• Executes the communication plan utilizing the Nestlé Way briefing process and incorporates existing or new research support as required
• Chooses target consumers by using attractiveness and ability to win, makes use of existing & new research and develops local consumer insights
• Coordinates in the development of Big Ideas, engagement strategies and the creation of relevant & memorable brand experiences in partnership with communication agencies and the CIMI (Consumer Insights & Marketing Intelligence Team) team.
• Understands shopping behaviors and motivations of target consumers, helps design shopping experiences that delight consumers / shoppers
• Contributes to pricing and promotional strategy, proposes brand portfolio for key channels and key customers
• Pre and Post analysis of all marketing activities, implementing changes as necessary to drive heightened market share results
• Monitor competitive activities and category/consumer trends - identify insights & gaps and drive research or analysis where required
• Leads on developing creative and shopper-centric packaging solutions that help differentiate the products on shelf increase and increase weight of purchase.

Requirements

• B.S. in Business Management, Marketing or Economics.
• 2+ years’ experience in marketing (brand management, marketing research, and/or communication consultancy/agency).
• Bilingual (Arabic & English)
• FMCG experience is a plus
• Demonstrates strong communication and presentation skills
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
