Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Haircare is one of the biggest Personal Care categories for Unilever in North Africa Middle East region with a portfolio of 6 purpose driven brands including global brands like Dove, Sunsilk, Clear and TRESemme. This role entails working with the Haircare Category Manager (Brand Development), handing an independent brand portfolio for the NAME region and driving strategy, innovation and communication development on it.

JOB SUMMARY
• Business & Consumer Understanding & Evaluation: Build holistic business and consumer understanding by studying internal, market and consumer data, attending relevant consumer connects & staying abreast of personal care trends.
• Mix Development: Co-develop regional marketing mixes (spanning product, pack, price, proposition, communication) working with CMI, R&D and Supply Chain as well as creative agencies.
• Mix Deployment: Co-lead global and country cross-functional teams in deploying global innovations; manage innovation network OTIFs, help localize global communications

Day-to-day Brand Operational Excellence: Including but not limited to:
• Budget management
• Working with Artworks team
• Analysing data and deducing relevant trends to help understand issues and opportunities

Requirements

• MBA is preferred
• Two years + of experience in Marketing (preferably FMCG marketing)
• Aptitude for data comprehension, interpretation and analysis
• Experience of project / network management and working with large, cross functional teams
• Strong bias for action and ability to work independently
• Experience of communication development for NAME region would be an advantage
• Arabic speaking preferred
