Job description / Role
A new opportunity has come up for a newly opened pharmacy in Al Ain. The role is an Assistant Pharmacist with the primary responsibility of assisting the license Pharmacist in selling and giving pharmacological information to individuals buying medication at the shop.
Other responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Dispensing of pharmaceutical items in the Pharmacy, with proper patient information on proper usage and dosage
- Dispense medicines as per doctors’ prescription.
- Assist in maintaining pharmacy stocks and monitoring movement/ inventory of pharmaceutical items
- Assist Pharmacists with pharmacy duties
Requirements
- Qualified as Assistant Pharmacist with a minimum of 2 year diploma
- HAAD licensure is a must
- At least 3 years experience as an Assistant Pharmacist.
- Good computer skills.
- Good command of written and spoken English; knowledge of spoken and written Arabic is an advantage.
- Ability to function effectively under pressure
- A willingness to work shifts/weekends/Public holidays and must be physically fit to stand for long periods of time
