We are now seeking an exceptional Assistant Planning Engineer to join our award winning team based within our Abu Dhabi Office Office.

This critical role will be responsible for providing effective planning, controls and scheduling to the Design Division.

Responsibilities

Paramount to success within this varied role will include:

* Developing, maintaining and updating the project master schedules in conjunction with design team and project leadership.
* Providing high level resources and workload planning forecasts for the Division.
* Management of planning, cost and schedule metrics and tools (WBS), collecting performance data (installed quantities, expended labor hours, and other progress measurements for direct & subcontract labor), tracking data (daily cost compilation and monitoring), analyzing and reporting (earned value, productivity and risk analysis).
* Preparing, implementing, analyzing and reporting on KPI's appropriate to the stage of project development.
* Supporting internal project control processes.
* Working with the Planning Manager and Design Team to validate scope and sequence of planned activities. Creating activity sequencing as needed using available information from multiple sources.
* Discussions with supervisors and team members to determine activity status and progress.
* Creating what-if schedules, recovery plans, and mitigation scenarios as necessary.
* Coordinating and where requested preparing project procedural plans in line with the requirements of the contract and the KEO PPM.
* Attending and where required minuting project meetings. Facilitating project progress meetings.
* Assisting in compilation and coordination of project monthly report, including preparation of project control sections.

Requirements

Qualifications

To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring a minimum of 5 years career experience in planning or scheduling role with a Bachelor Degree in Engineering or Architecture.
