Assistant Procurement Manager (Regional Office)

Job description / Role

• Identify and manage relationships with suppliers across the region for various goods and services.
• Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to ensure consistency and cost-effectiveness.
• Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to the needs and dynamics of the specific region.
• Align sourcing strategies with regional business objectives and industry trends.
• Oversee the procurement process, from order placement to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment across multiple locations.
• Implement consistent standards and quality control measures across the region.
• Implement systems to track consumption and optimize stock levels across locations.
• Collaborate with the finance department to monitor and control procurement expenses.
• Maintain accurate records of regional purchases, contracts, and agreements.
• Prepare reports on regional procurement activities, spending patterns, and inventory levels.

Salary:
AED 7,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in supply chain management, procurement or related field
• 5-7 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management.
• Experience managing procurement activities across multiple locations or within a specific region.
• Proven experience in negotiating contracts and managing relationships with suppliers on a regional scale.
• Hands-on experience overseeing procurement processes and coordinating activities across multiple locations.
• Experience managing inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations regionally.
• Ability to monitor and optimize procurement expenses across a regional scope while adhering to budget constraints.
• An advanced degree, such as an MBA or related master's, can enhance qualifications.
