Assistant Product Manager - Credit Cards

Job description / Role

Our client in Finance, is now looking for an Assistant Product Manager- Credit Cards.This position works towards the development and implementation plans to gain market share and reach revenue/profitability objectives for all assigned products, while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory standards and guidelines.

Responsibilities:

• Flawlessly execute the development and launch of the credit cards products
• Establish cards product life cycle management from concept to phasing out of the product(s)
• Create campaigns to address acquisition and usage of cards portfolio
• Maintain product and market knowledge. Analyze and keep abreast of market trends.
• Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate new product features.
• Work with cross-functional teams to realize product concepts and bring them to market.
• Deliver on Product strategy - Increase market share of existing range of company Finance card products and by creating differentiated products/co-brand propositions. Continuously review the market offerings to ensure competitive differentiation
• Get necessary input from all stakeholders including acquisition teams while finalizing any new products
• Establish a working relationship with IT to ensure that product systems are maintained and continuously improved in order to meet customer needs and facilitate ease of sales, fulfillment and servicing
• Conduct Research and implement new functionality in response to market analysis and research
• Work closely with Card Schemes to keep up to date with new developments in the Credit cards business

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have,

• Banking/Financial Services/Credit Card business experience, strong financial analysis and P &L management
• Experience in the creation and launch of products and services
• 5+ years’ experience in Product development and marketing
• MBA in Marketing/Finance
