Employment: Full Time

Job Purpose:

Deliver Banking services to UHNW customers and to provide professional and confidential personal assistant service to Head of Private Banking & Enterprise Liabilities while proactively supporting the objectives and goals of the department and the organization

Principal Accountabilities:

Review all correspondence as necessary to ensure HOPBEL receives the support to carry out his role in the most efficient manner.

Plan and monitor progress, take follow up action in respect of issues arising from all business meetings which have been delegated by HOPBEL to his subordinates. To ensure appropriate action has been taken within the required timescale and keep him informed of developments.

Perform complex administrative work exercising independent judgment in relieving HOPBEL of administrative details.

Be part of Department target achievement by recording achievement of Sales team alongside their pipeline and commitments, upraising HOPBEL of any shortfall or excess to address the case at regular intervals, thereby ensuring targets are achieved consistently.

Monitor Sales Team activities like client meetings, Call reports, Account Plan to ensure each account is profitable.

Perform ARM responsibilities i.e. support RMs in managing their portfolio effectively and act as a support function & backup on their daily operational/service requirements.

Compliance related queries, AML Alerts/RFI's /ODD will be closed by ARMs in consultation with RMs.

Assist in processing of account opening, debit & credit cards, loan, etc for UHNW clients.

To create and maintain a personal and confidential record and filing system to ensure speedy and efficient retrieval of information.

Schedule and facilitate internal and external meetings.

Draft replies and where appropriate, prepare correspondence under the guidance of HOPBEL to ensure timely and appropriate responses to internal and external customers.

To respond to internal and external telephone enquiries, to deal with or refer, as appropriate, to ensure that an effective communication channel exists between the HOPB&EL, his team, and the business.

Maintain and apply strict level of confidentiality in all work related matters, to protect the bank's business interests.

Research, compile, analyze, and summarize data for projects, reports, meetings on behalf of HOPB&EL independently or as directed.

Keep updated about policies, procedures and practices within department / bank to ensure consistent adherence.

Acts as first point of contact for internal and external visitors and screen them to ensure that only the necessary visitors are directed to the department head / direct them to appropriate officials.

Assist newly recruited staff with onboarding and induction.

Ensure necessary assistance and involvement in all assigned projects throughout the year.

Be the one point of contact for all activities for staff and their system related issues.

Ensure the team adheres to timelines of all Trainings, required exams, surveys, reviews, leave .

Maintain the upkeep of Private Banking premises including high quality of furniture, carpet, meeting rooms, Majlis décor, routine pest control, deep cleaning etc is done at regular intervals

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Economics or Finance or Business Management

5 year experience with a good understanding of banking practice preferably in dealing with clients.

Good verbal and written command of English. Knowing Arabic will be an added advantage.

Good communication Skills.

Ability to multitask & prioritize tasks
