Assistant Restaurant Manager

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team in the UAE. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, and contributing to the overall success of the establishment.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor and manage staffing levels to ensure optimal service during peak hours.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and front-of-house staff to maintain a smooth and efficient operation.
- Uphold a high standard of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
- Train and supervise staff to deliver exceptional service.
- Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of restaurant staff.
- Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to enhance team performance.
- Monitor staff adherence to company policies and standards.
- Assist in managing budgetary goals, including revenue and cost control.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure stock availability.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of sales and marketing strategies.
- Ensure that food and beverage offerings meet established quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections of the dining area to maintain cleanliness and organization.
- Address and resolve any issues related to service or product quality.
- Implement and enforce health and safety protocols in accordance with local regulations.
- Conduct regular safety training for staff and maintain a safe working environment.
- Foster positive communication and collaboration between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
- Work closely with the management team to implement policies and achieve business goals.
- Generate regular reports on key performance indicators, sales, and customer feedback.
- Provide insights and recommendations for improvement based on performance data.

Salary:
AED 6,000 to 8,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

- Proven experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in the restaurant industry.
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including front-of-house and back-of house functions.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of UAE food and beverage regulations.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Familiarity with POS systems and basic financial reporting.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
