Employment: Full Time

Associate Director, Client Marketing Services

Strategy

* Be the Brand Champion in the UAE
* Raise awareness and SOV by planning and executing marketing strategy for CIB, CB, PvB and Brand
* Proactively prepare, monitor and track segment plans with focus on ROI and feedback
* Build the profile of the CIB, CB and PvB business by creating thought leadership content

Business

* Ensure all segment and product campaigns are in place that have a business focus vis-a-vis full year strategic priorities
* Plan, execute and run segment marketing councils in agreement with segment heads
* Create thought-leadership content
* Assess and measure the team's activities to ensure alignment with plans, forecasts and capacity models. Identify areas for process improvement and recommend ways to increase marketing effectiveness and improve operational efficiencies
* Develop go-to-market plans for new products/channels
* Support CEO's in creating and managing client events
* Ensure plans are executed within the brand specifications (brand positioning, brand architecture) to reinforce the overall SCB brand positioning through consistency in tone, manner, look and feel
* Support the annual strategic marketing planning exercise in conjunction with the businesses to ensure key deliverables are met
* Plan and execute key business events and sponsorships across segments and for the bank as a whole including leveraging key sponsorships like marathon, LFC, etc
* Manage a business-driven marketing budget and provide quarterly update to senior managers

Processes

* Work with Supply Chain Management and Legal & Compliance teams to put effective vendor management in place including supplier panels, partnership agreements and monitoring
* Maintain accuracy and full compliance for the S&D policy
* Ensure good business judgement through following the Group Gift and Entertainment Policy & Procedures

People and Talent

* Lead by example for the team and act as an advisor

Risk Management

* Work closely with Corporate affairs to mitigate any risk on reputation risk from campaigns
* Work closely with GSA team to ensure vendor management processes are adhered to at all times
* Ensure all branded materials are always updated as per government regulation

Governance

* Work closely with Compliance to ensure all client communication is in line with regulatory framework

Requirements

Qualifications:

* The role holder will have prior marketing experience, ideally in the banking sector.
* The ideal candidate will have an understanding of Corporate Banking, including products and segments.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are required.
* Self-starter and creative thinking will be attributes of the successful candidate.
* UAE National candidates are preferred.
